The Mixed Martial Arts Association of Trinidad and Tobago (MMAATT) is the official sports serving body for the sport of Mixed Martial Arts in Trinidad and Tobago. Established in 2024, MMAATT was formed with the primary objective of regulating, developing, promoting, and governing the sport of Mixed Martial Arts throughout the country while creating structured opportunities for athlete development from the grassroots level through to international competition.
MMAATT was established to provide national governance for Mixed Martial Arts and to secure formal recognition of the sport through both the Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA) and the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Trinidad and Tobago. Through these efforts, MMAATT successfully achieved official recognition as the Sport Serving Body for Mixed Martial Arts in Trinidad and Tobago.
The federation currently represents approximately 200 athletes through affiliated member clubs across Trinidad and Tobago and is supported by approximately 12–15 certified coaches, officials, and administrators. MMAATT is committed to maintaining high standards of athlete safety, fair competition, education, and long-term sport development.
MMAATT oversees national championships, athlete selection programs, coaching education, referee development, international team preparation, and grassroots participation initiatives. The federation works closely with local clubs and international partners to advance the growth of Mixed Martial Arts throughout Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean region.
